Practical answers about QR modes, subscriptions, privacy and team workflows.
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes? +
A static QR code stores its final content directly in the image. A dynamic QR code stores a QRalto redirect address, allowing you to update the destination and measure scans after printing.
Do static QR codes expire? +
No. A downloaded static QR code continues to contain its encoded content and does not depend on QRalto hosting. The destination website itself must remain available.
Can I change a QR destination after printing? +
Yes, when the campaign uses Dynamic mode. Static QR pixels cannot be changed after download or printing.
What happens when a trial or subscription ends? +
Protected product features are blocked after entitlement expiry. Dynamic redirects are subscription-controlled, while previously downloaded static codes remain independent.
Does QRalto store scanner IP addresses? +
Raw scanner IP addresses are not retained in product analytics. QRalto creates an irreversible value with a private salt for approximate unique-scan reporting.
Can a team manage QR campaigns together? +
Yes. QRalto workspaces support Owner, Admin, Editor and Viewer responsibilities, subject to plan limits.
Is API access available? +
API access and bulk workflows are available on eligible plans using scoped, expiring API keys.
