Fair billing.

How cancellation, refund requests, service credits, and payment timing work for QRalto subscriptions.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to subscriptions and eligible purchases made directly from QRalto. It does not replace any non-waivable rights available under applicable consumer law. If a reseller or another marketplace billed you, its refund process may apply.
2. Trials and cancellation
You can cancel an eligible subscription through QRalto's billing controls. Cancelling before a trial converts to a paid subscription prevents the scheduled charge. Unless the billing screen states otherwise, cancelling a paid subscription stops future renewals while access continues until the end of the current paid period.
3. When we review a refund
We review requests involving a duplicate or incorrect charge, a charge made after a cancellation completed on time, a verified material service failure, or another circumstance where applicable law requires a remedy. You may also request review of a first paid subscription charge within 14 calendar days. Review does not guarantee approval, particularly where substantial platform capacity, serialized identities, custom work, or other services have already been consumed.
4. Charges generally not refundable
Except where law requires otherwise, completed renewal periods, partially used billing periods, consumed scan or product-unit capacity, redeemed promotional credits, custom services, and external costs already incurred are generally not refundable. Referral rewards and bonus scans have no cash value.
5. How to request review
Email billing@qralto.com from the address associated with your workspace. Include the workspace name, invoice or payment reference, charge date, and a concise reason. Never send a full card number, security code, password, API key, or MFA code. We aim to acknowledge a complete request within five business days and may ask for information needed to validate it.
6. Approved refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. QRalto can initiate the refund promptly, but the bank or card network controls when it appears. It commonly takes approximately 5–10 business days and may take longer depending on the payment method and financial institution.
7. Plan changes and service credits
Where available, plan upgrades or downgrades may create prorated charges, credits, or a change effective at the next renewal. A service credit is not cash, cannot be transferred, and is applied only as shown in the billing record.
8. Abuse and disputes
QRalto may deny or reverse a discretionary refund or credit involving fraud, self-referral, repeated misuse, chargeback manipulation, or breach of the Terms. Contact billing first where possible so we can investigate an unfamiliar or incorrect charge.
9. Changes and legal review
We may update this policy prospectively as products, payment methods, or legal requirements change. The version presented at purchase and mandatory applicable law govern the relevant transaction. This policy should be reviewed by qualified counsel for each market before general availability.
